family with teens photoshoot in Rome: 5 reasons to hire me as your personal vacation photographer

family reportage is the perfect shooting if you travel with teenagers, here you can find some reasons why:

1) family reportage is a genre that adapts to the needs of the family: usually teens do not enjoy waking up early. In this case, we decided to meet at 10 am and have breakfast together. I have joined the family in their hotel rooms, taking photos of the boys playing together and getting ready before going out exploring Rome: enjoying some time in the hotel/hotel room with family and friends is part of the fun (and part of the vacation itself): why not including it in your vacation photo album?

2) usually teenagers do not like spending much time doing things in favor of the camera: this is another reason why family reportage is perfect for them - I will take some posed portraits on selected spots but I will spend 99% of the shooting capturing candid moments: this is the best way to capture their blooming personalities, their amazing sense of friendship, the relationship among members of the family, and their playful side.

3) on shorter sessions I usually give some suggestions (places to go, short itineraries) if the family has nothing planned for the day. In this case the families had a short walk in mind, from the hotel to Fontana di Trevi, a very well know spot in Rome. While walking towards their destination, they stopped along the way a couple of times to enjoy buskers playing music and walked through Galleria Alberto Sordi before reaching their final destination: during family reportage teens are absolutely free to do whatever they want, there’s no rush to reach a destination or doing something specific in favor of the camera.

4) While part of my job is suggesting the best shooting time and location, these suggestions might not be applicable while traveling with teens, and adapting to specific times of the day (shooting close to midday), or taking photos in very crowded places in Rome like Fontana di Trevi, require skills that only a professional photographer can guarantee: deciding to do it by yourself not only might be very frustrating (think about taking photos among hundreds of people around you) but there is also a high risk of failure.

5) Lastly, one of the most important reasons to book me as your personal photographer if you are visiting Rome with your teens: think about all the time you have asked them to pose for a photo, or maybe you have tons of photos when they were little kids and just a bunch of their teenage years: you know that these years will fly away in a blink of an eye - your vacation is the perfect occasion to book me as your personal photographer and have those beautiful memories preserved forever.
