about me
Hello, I’m Sara, your personal, professional photographer based in Rome, Italy. I spent the last 10 years photographing families and couples from all over the world. I am a speaker and author for Nikon - I have written two books ‘Master of Photography’. My photos have been selected and displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in Florida, and in Arles for one of the most important photography festivals in the world. I have an approved portfolio on Vogue Italy, I also mentor other photographers, and I love keeping experimenting with the medium to always offer something different to my clients.
It’s a privilege to do such a meaningful job: capturing your memories on one of the most important days of your life or on an occasion you want to hold close. Using thoughtful light and composition, I aim for a beautiful aesthetic in every photo, but you will always be the main characters of the story.

My style blends documentary and reportage photography with a touch of editorial style for posed portraits. Typically, a wedding is about 90% real-life, candid moments and 10% stylish, posed portraits, depending on how much time you'd like to dedicate to couple photos. We'll discuss this before your wedding to decide together what suits you best. For engagement or couple photoshoots, the style is mainly editorial. My color toning is true-to-life with a hint of film photography style.

Engagement and couple sessions start from 2 hours, while wedding coverage begins at 6 hours and can extend to multi day events. Everything is fully customizable to fit your unique plans and needs

I am based in Rome and I usually travel all over the Italy for wedding and engagement sessions. Upon request and if my schedule allows it, I can reach you anywhere in the world to document your special day.

Yes, film photography can be added as a wonderful enhancement to your package. I shoot 35 mm film photography, each roll will be developed, digitally scanned and added to your final gallery

I do not shoot digital videos, but I offer, as enhancement for your photography package, Super8 highlights videos. If you love the idea of having a vintage, mute film video of your event with a strong sense of nostalgia, this is for you!

No, for all continental destinations in Italy there are no additional travel fees. For islands and international destinations, travel fees vary based on location and will be calculated separately.

Simply fill out the form, and I’ll get in touch within 24 hours. If you decide to proceed and book my services, I'll send a contract. Once the deposit is paid, your date is secured.

A deposit is required to secure your date. The balance should be paid within three weeks of your wedding day or event. For bookings within three weeks of the event, full payment is required upon signing the contract.

For weddings and events, the usual turnaround is 10 weeks. For shorter sessions, like engagement or couple photoshoots, the turnaround is 3 weeks. A faster turnaround is available upon request.

Each essential package includes everything you need for your event but can be customized and enhanced with extras such as a second photographer, 35mm film photography, Polaroids, Super8 short videos, multi-day wedding coverage, or a Fine Art album.
